Albert F. Fleury Jr., MD, FACS
Known for his skill and artistry, Albert F. Fleury Jr., MD, FACS
is experienced in all aspects of plastic surgery. He has a special
interest in aesthetics, including cosmetic surgery of the face and
body, and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Fleury is listed in The Best Doctors in America. He has appeared
on numerous television programs including NBC Nightly News with
Tom Brokaw.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. Fleury took over the plastic surgery
practice that was established by his father more than fifty years
ago. That practice merged with the practice of Dr. French and Dr.
Price in 1986 to become the Center for Plastic Surgery-the sponsor
of this site.
After graduating from Holy Cross College in Massachusetts and the
Georgetown School of Medicine, Dr. Fleury completed his general
surgery training at the Washington Hospital Center. He went on to
the Eastern Virginia Medical Authority in Norfolk, Virginia where
he completed his plastic surgery residency as well as a Fellowship
in Microsurgery. Dr. Fleury served as Chief of the Division of Plastic
Surgery at Sibley Memorial Hospital. He is Clinical Assistant Professor
in Plastic Surgery at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Dr. Fleury is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He
is also a member of many professional societies including: American
Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic
Surgery, Medical Society of the District of Columbia, the Osler
Society, Georgetown Clinical Society and National Capital Society
of Plastic Surgeons.
